The difference between a Bored Ape and a stock is that the stock actually represents something that has tangible value - the company it represents makes a product or provides a service. You might think the price of the stock doesn’t match the value that the company provides, but it still does *something* that people need or want or use. Robert Fitzpatrick is completely correct. You’re confusing value and price. The price of an NFT is as much as people are willing to pay for it, sure, but most people are buying them in order to flip them for more money, not because they actually want the value that it represents. That value you’ve described is really just A) airdrops of more NFTs, B) access to a discord server which is free anyway, and C) bragging rights. Bragging rights are based on people thinking something is cool, which changes constantly as trends rise and fall. All those three things are incredibly insubstantial, and that’s why they’re all crashing in price now that the speculation bubble has popped. The only other benefit you get is IP, which is useless for 99% of people. Sure, you can start a coffee brand and put your Bored Ape on it. But if you already have the money and resources to start a company (or write a TV show or a comic or whatever), what is the image of a random ape going to contribute that any other logo or character couldn’t? If Bored Apes stayed relevant forever, maybe that would give you a boost, but that’s circular logic. They aren’t going to, because their prestige is linked to their price, and their price was massively inflated over their actual value due to a speculation bubble, just like basically every other NFT.

Have you tried USB audio player pro and the morphit plugin. It can make headphone you listening to sound like another headphone... I like the Sundara morphed to the Sennheiser HD800S... sounds great.

Hey Matt, Is there a way to use this technique to make custom fonts? I am working on this board game branding project and I need to make a font with this 3d effect and be able to change the color of the 3d part. Would I have to make a different font for each color I want to use?

I have an open sea but how do I upload my art? 😢

I’m a traditional artist learning (or trying) digital art, I’m using illustrator and it’s such a challenge. And wasn’t quite what I was looking for I don’t think. I remember using photoshop several years ago (I mean SEVERAL) and I always found it fun to use. But I used it for photo manipulation, not painting. Now I’m a traditional painter, watercolor/acrylic/sketching, etc. and so illustrator was not at all what I was expecting 😅 it’s fun! But I’m finding myself very frustrated because I want to try photoshop too but don’t want to pay for both programs together right now as a beginner…. I’m wondering if maybe Photoshop might be a good idea to try though and see some tutorial videos to help me decide.
